Ever heard about "Last.fm"?

Last.fm is a social community that collects information about regarding what the users listen to, and makes list out of it. Every user has it's own list, that says what artists and songs he or she listen to the most.The artists gets their own lists, that declare which songs that has been listened to the most te last week, and the last 6 months. Moreover,it is a list that in general shows which bands and singers that are the most popular.

Back in the 20th Century, Felix Miller and Martin Stiksel were running an online record label who wanted to get independent music out to the people who wanted to hear it. A few years later, university student Richard Jones started tracking what he and his friends were listening to on their computers with a project he called Audioscrobbler. Last.fm brought these ideas and desires together.

Over 50,000,000,000 tracks have  been scrobbled since 2003.
